Sven Wejsfelt (born Johansson, 1930–2009) was a Swedish ceramicist, wheel-thrower, and sculptor. At only sixteen, he began his training at the Rörstrand porcelain factory, working under masters such as Gunnar Nylund and Carl-Harry Stålhane. In 1953 he joined Gustavsberg porcelain factory under Stig Lindberg, at which point he changed his surname to Wejsfelt. From 1977 he worked independently, creating refined stoneware forms and small, detailed animal and fish sculptures, often characterized by innovative glazes in cobalt blue, oxblood, and earthy tones. His artistry continued into the 2000s, and his works are represented in museums in Stockholm, New York, and Faenza.
