A lovely serving dish of model Domino designed by Stig Lindberg at Gustavsberg. It is 20 x 20 cm (8″ x 8″) and in excellent condition. It is marked below with the Gustavsberg stamp.

The Domino serie was created by Stig Lindberg in 1954 to the large Swedish design expedition H55 in Helsingborg in 1955. All the objects was designed in geometrical shapes and with stylistic relief patterns mostly in black and white. The serie was in production until 1969.
directly on the goods, whereupon the painters then filled in with colors. It became almost a “coloring book technique”. It is said that some of them quitted their works because they were bored. The serie was in production between 1958-1962.
